Welcome to woistwer24! - The woistwer24 internet portal offers an intelligent solution for real-time notification by e-mail and SMS text messages, as well as internet-based real-time monitoring.
Our real-time notification and monitoring system requires a mobile phone and GPS receiver or an integrated device. The mobile phone regularly sends the appropriate GPS position to woistwer24.
woistwer24 offers the following features:
- user-friendly mobile phone software for the automatic transmission of position data via GPRS and/or SMS to the woistwer24 web server

- internet-based real-time monitoring using Google Maps

- bi-directional connection – transmission frequency settings for position data can be sent from a mobile phone to the web server or vice versa
- Standalone – Allows your mobile phone to regularly retrieve the current transmission intervals from the web server (not included in iPhone app.!)

Real-Time Notification:
- If you reach your destination,
- if a specific position (e.g. the position of a person in your care) changes,
- if you remain in a specific position longer than usual (e.g. due to injury), or
- if you do not reach your destination by a specific point in time (e.g. because you are lost), woistwer24 will send an e-mail or SMS notification to the recipients you have selected.
Real-Time Monitoring:
The user group you have specified can see your position on the internet. woistwer24 always shows your current position, as well as positions that were previously received.
Example: Leisure Time
You love to hike or bike in your spare time. Give yourself and your loved ones the assurance that if worst comes to worst (e.g. if you land in a ditch or fall and are unable to get up), the group you have defined will be notified by e-mail or SMS text message and will be able to see where you are.
Example: People In Your Care
Suppose you want to know if a person who is in your care leaves their home or premises. woistwer24 will notify you as soon as they leave a previously defined position.
Example: Property
You could also want to be notified if your car, boat or any other piece of mobile property situated abroad is moved from its usual place.

Are your kids on their way to see Grandma, and you want to know where they are? Or do you want to keep track of your friends while they tour New Zealand? woistwer24 can help you stay tuned in to where your loved ones are.
woistwer24 Performance Characteristics:
Once you have actively launched the program, the GPS phone determines your current position and sends it to woistwer24. You can choose between frequent transmissions (by GPRS) or a small number of transmissions per day (by SMS). If there is no GPRS signal, as is often the case in mountainous or rural areas, your current position will automatically be transmitted by SMS (Professional Software only). Thus, you will always remain in contact, provided your phone is able to access a mobile network. The positions received by woistwer24 will only be displayed in real time to those people you have specified. They will need to log in with a user name and password. At the same time, woistwer24 handles the notification options you have selected. In case of a specific event, woistwer24 sends an e-mail or SMS text message to your recipient group.
Equipment:
The following items are required for unrestricted use of woistwer24: a mobile phone with Symbian S60 3rd/5th Generation (Samsung, LG and Nokia), an external or internal GPS receiver and woistwer24 software. This equipment will regularly send your position to woistwer24 by GPRS or SMS. If you decide to use our GPRS service, and there is no GPRS available, your current position will automatically be sent by SMS (Professional Software only). Thus, you will always remain in contact, provided your phone is able to access a mobile network. Our service without automatic SMS transmission can be used by iPhone app. for iPhone OS 3.0 or higher and the Basic Software for any mobile phone with Java capability and an internal or external GPS receiver. To display the current position on the internet, the user group you have authorized will need a fast internet connection or OZI Explorer and NetGPS. woistwer24 offers rental equipment (€ 15 including shipping for Germany, except iPhone) for use during the two-day test period.
Technical Background:
To receive a person's current position data at regular intervals, woistwer24 requires a mobile phone with woistwer24 iPhone app., Professional or Basic Software installed (MobiTrack, AFTrack and Aspicore GSM Tracker are also supported), as well as a GPS receiver. The user group you have specified can keep track of the current position over the internet or on their desktop, using NetGPS with OZI Explorer. You can choose to save all of your GPS data for later editing, or have it sent to your computer.
